Great Books for Everyone (ENG-C19)
Read and discuss some of the best books that have been written during the past 2500 years. Read them for the very first time or to refresh your memory of past readings. No educational background is required, just the desire to learn, to meet some of the great minds of the past, and to discover the rewards of challenging conversations. There is no "teacher" but rather two well-prepared discussion leaders who will help you think and talk about the meaning of what you read by raising questions. You'll find the every-other-week meetings informal, lively, and enjoyable as you discuss ideas that should concern everybody. Books may be purchased or borrowed from the library.(Lifelong Learner course)
