Elementary Spanish I (SPN-101)
Spring 2015: Develops the ability to speak, understand, read and write Spanish in a cultural context. Not intended for native speakers or for students who have studied this language within the last three years. OLD: Oral and written practices of basic vocabulary are the course's main topics. The most needed verbs, with emphasis on present tense, are covered along with explanations of cultural and language structures. Computer disks and cassette tapes supplement instruction.
